As numerous studies have shown, one out of every six employees has a substance abuse problem. Absent up to 10 times more often then their peers, Substance Abusers are 33% less productive and cost 300% more in medical costs and benefits than their coworkers. DOT Medical Exam for Commercial Motor Vehicle Certification
In compliance with the DOT requirements, a DOT physical examination must be administered by a licensed National Registry Certified Medical Examiner. We are your one-stop-shop for DOT compliance! For your convenience we can schedule the physical exam on the same day as your other required testing, such as drug & alcohol testing that may also be required. Those requiring a DOT physical can contact SkillQuest to schedule the examination.
A DOT physical exam is valid for up to 24 months. Your medical examiner may need to issue a certificate for less that 2 years due to medial conditions such as high blood pressure, hypertension, heart disease, diabetes or a sleep disorder that may require additional screening in a shorter period of time. At the completion of your examination you will receive a copy of your results and you will be issued a certificate, typically this examination takes between 30-45 minutes.
